Holiday Diet Tips

As the Holidays are here I would like to offer a few tips. Our goal with our clients is to maintain their current weight and not put on pounds during the Holiday. According to a CNN report: the average North American adult gains 7-10 pounds over the holiday season.
Don’t be Average!
Do not go to festivities hungry. This will help you control your portions. You can be polite and have a small portion of a dessert. Make sure you are eating more of lean meats and salads and eat less of the breads, pastas and mashed potatoes.
Keep the junk food out of your house
Limit your Holiday desserts and junk food to parties only. Bringing junk food into the house is an added temptation that no one needs during the holidays; it’s hard enough at the parties!
